  Steven Jay Lynn, Ph.D. is a professor of psychology at the State University of New York at Binghamton.  He is a former president of APA's Division 30 (Psychological Hypnosis) and a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and of the American Board of Psychological Hypnosis. He has received awards for the Best Books Published in 1991, 1992, and 1993 from the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis and is an advisory editor to many professional journals, including the Journal of Abnormal Psychology.  Dr. Lynn has published more than 170 books, articles, and chapters on hypnosis, memory, victimization, and psychotherapy.
